Computer
Our learners at Rynfield Primary School are privileged to have their own computer during computer class. These children produce really exciting, creative, yet productive pieces of work, utilising the Microsoft suite of programmes. The Internet Cafe is open after school, affording the learners the opportunity of researching school projects, or just to brush up on computer skills.
Drama
Our core drama group has proved to be hardworking and very enthusiastic. They echo the feelings of Oscar Wilde who said: "I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another, the sense of what it is to be a human being.
Choir
Singing and music, in general, is an exceptional positive activity that has been significantly proven to lift the spirit and promote a sense of well-being. There can be no greater gift to mankind than exquisite music.
Chess
Chess is a mind growing experience where forward planning and the development of strategies take place. There has been much new interest and growth in chess. Our players have done exceptionally well this year and have recently been selected to play at provincial level. We are proud of their achievements and good sportsmanship shown at the various tournaments.
Early Act Club
The mission and operation of Early Act at Rynfield Primary School level are closely linked to the ideals of Rotary and provide the foundation and natural progression into Interact at High School. Encouraging the learners to think about those less fortunate than themselves and develop an awareness of the needs of the community.
